BEHLEN wins Mbiz Award for Long Term Achievement Business

BEHLEN was extremely proud to accept the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce 2014 Manitoba Business (MBiz) Award in the Long Term Achievement Business – Rural Manitoba category on Wednesday, October 29^th. The award is the second BEHLEN has won this year, the first being the 2014 Business Excellence Award from the Brandon Chamber of Commerce. “In the last year, we’ve reached some major milestones, including expanding internationally, developing new technology in our plant and receiving our largest ever contract,” said Sean Lepper, vice president & general manager at BEHLEN. “Winning this award gives us confidence our efforts are paying off.” MBiz Award recipients are evaluated on sustained growth, contribution to employment in Manitoba, employee relations and development, and community involvement. Additional consideration may be given to nominees demonstrating special achievements or overcoming unique obstacles. The award was handed out at the MBiz Awards Gala Dinner at the Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Centre in Winnipeg. Runners up in the Long Term Achievement Business – Rural Manitoba category were Border View Electric Ltd. and Samantha Klassen Dental Corp.
