This recreation center had a number of requirements to fit in a 28,800 sq. ft. building. The building contains an NHL sized ice rink, a Zamboni Room, a walking track, weight room and change rooms. The design criteria called for an energy efficient building with superior vapor barrier characteristics.

BEHLEN’s CORR-SPAN Building System. The twenty-foot sidewalls provide an ample amount of useable space. This style of building keeps the heat out and retains the cold dry air, which is required for Ice Arenas, which reduces HVAC costs.
