This facility is recognized as the largest single line OSB plant in North America, capable of producing 900 msf of OSB per year. The BEHLEN Industries metal building structure (40% of which is 90’ tall) was trucked to site using almost 300 trucks. The owner’s production start was the fall of 2000, therefore the metal building was given an aggressive schedule of four months to complete. To achieve this, more than 60 metal building systems erectors, ironworkers and cladders were dispatched to this site.
